TOMORROW
My Catgun sticker is starting to look pretty fucked. That laptop’s had a few interesting adventures over the last 18 months or so and the sticker has been a constant reminder that my time management skills leave a lot to be desired.
We’ll do some Catgun stuff tomorrow, I said. Again. And again. And again.
But it’s not like we’ve been idle. The Night Bride comic is finished. As with PRECISION we now have a character we’re rather fond of and want to do more with, but right now we’re just looking for a home for her.
Thanks to Steve she’s already kicked ass out in the real world. The Night Bride opera was performed in Vienna complete with my libretto. I know. Crazy. But Dave’s art is beautiful and we should have the full thing in your hands very soon.
We’re just starting to put together a road map for all this stuff, but it looks like it’ll keep us busy for a little while. Thanks for stopping by and prodding us into a little more action.
I believe we’ll have a full demo of the opera up on Soundcloud soon and a lot more of Anna to come once you have the comic in your grubby little collective paws.
I guess we should also get some new stickers.

To coincide with the release of ‘The Black Lodge’, I am running a competition for you to do your own cover version of the single.
It can be in any style/shape/medium, literally ANYTHING you’d like.
The best one will win the aforementioned list of goodies, plus will get exposure on all my social networks.

This might help…

G                        Bm        F♯m         G
There’s a little boy lost out in the woods
G                        Bm       F♯m        G
With tangerine jeans and black leather boots
G                        Bm        F♯m         G
Mummy I’m ready I’ve got you the loot
G                               Bm                F♯m         G
Come back to me mummy I’m scared without you

G                        Bm        F♯m         G
There’s a little girl lost out in the woods
G                        Bm        F♯m         G
With cherry red lips and sick on her boots
G                 Bm        F♯m         G
Honey I’m sorry I kissed another boy
G                             F♯m              Bm
Cos honey I just needed to be loved
G                             F♯m                Bm
And honey I can’t live without your love

G
There’s a breeze in the trees singing your black heart
Bm                                    F♯m
Your black heart needs a transplant
G
Bad luck has ground you down
Bm                                             F♯m
Down in the mud where the worms spin round and round

G
You can’t ignore those evil voices
Bm                             F♯m
When you sleep at night
G
If you ignored those evil voices
Bm                            F♯m
You might sleep at night

G                        Bm        F♯m         G
There’s an old toy lost out in the woods
G                        Bm        F♯m         G
With tired yellow eyes in it’s wires it lies
G                        Bm        F♯m         G
Chewed by the wolves thrown away by a child
G                 F♯m              Bm
All it ever wanted was your love
G                                 F♯m                        Bm
And children I was made to have your love

Bm                                                         Em
Then the witch came out from her gingerbread house
A                                            G            F♯m
Singing little girl little boy little old toy
Bm                                                      Em
You can all live with me in my house made of sweets
A                                                   G                     F♯m
I’ll put clothes on your back, shoes on your feet
Bm                                                         Em
The witch came out from her gingerbread house
A                                            G            F♯m
Singing little girl little boy little old toy
Bm                                                      Em
You can all live with me I do surgery
A                                                   G                     F♯m
I’ll take out your black hearts and I’ll eat them for tea

charlotteclarkmusic:

Very exciting news! Foe has been short listed for the rebel playlist on 6music for her next single The Black Lodge. That means if she wins she will be played on every programme on 6 next week. All you need to do is go to the link and vote once for FOE. If you could pass it on through your networks too that would be amazing. here’s the link
